Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm, and begin every 2 months.

*Free (to those who meet funding guidelines)

Goodwill Program Benefits:

  • Administrative Office Skills: 685 total hours of instruction.
  • Certifications that may be obtained include: International Computer Driving License (ICDL), Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification in Word and/or Excel, and Diploma.
  • Introduction to computers.
  • I.C.D.L. (International Computer Driving License) Certification
    • Concepts of IT, File Management*, Word Processing*, Spreadsheets, Data Base, Presentation, and Internet and Email*.
      • * = Level One Certification
    • ICDL is a certification that establishes that the holder has knowledge of the essential concepts of Information Technology (IT) and is able to use a personal computer and common computer applications at a recognized level of competence. The syllabus is broken down into seven modules; a test for each must be passed before the ICDL certificate is awarded.
  • MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Certification.
    • The MOS certification program provides computer program literacy, measures proficiency, and identifies opportunities for enhancement of skills. Successful candidates receive a Microsoft Office Specialist certification credential that sets them apart from their peers in the competitive job market. The certificate is a valuable credential that is recognized worldwide as proof that an individual has the desktop computing skills needed to work productively and efficiently.
  • Keyboarding, Basic Office Procedures, Business English, Proofreading, Career Development, Externship, Job Search Assistance through on-site CareerLink Affiliate Center.
