Goodwill Employment Training Center (GETC) offers computer and retail certifications in our state-of-the-art computer testing center at our Lawrenceville site – 118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Tests Offered:

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) 2007/2010 Certification Testing

The MOS exam is the official Microsoft Office certification and is the premier credential chosen by individuals seeking to validate their computer skills and advance their career. Testing for the MOS certification is offered for the software programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Word and Excel are also offered at an Expert level.

Cost: $90 per test

International Computer Driving License (ICDL) 2007/2010 Certification

The assessment for the ICDL is offered for those who desire to validate their computer skills through an internationally recognized assessment. The assessment contains 7 test modules that certify knowledge in the essential areas of Information Technology, Managing Files, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and the Internet. The test package also includes online courseware offering instruction and assessments in each of the 7 modules.

Cost: $150 – Includes 7 diagnostic tests, 7 certification tests, and the online courseware

National Retail Federation Foundation (NRFF) Customer Service Certification

The National Professional Certification in Customer Service signifies that the person who earns it has demonstrated knowledge and skills noted as important to successful employment in best practices and high performance companies in the sales and service industries. The individual who earns this certification will have a national, transferable certification of skills and knowledge in customer service.

Cost: $70

National Retail Federation Foundation (NRFF) Customer Sales Certification

The National Professional Certification in Sales was designed to capture the core sales duties of a broad range of entry level positions through first-line supervisor positions across the sales and service industries. This certification is appropriate for anyone interested in obtaining a job or pursuing a career in retail and other customer service-focused industries. Prerequisite for this exam is the National Professional Certification in Customer Service.
