"With Goodwill, you can start one place and grow to achieve better things in life."

Mary started as a secretary with Goodwill, but continues to move onto bigger and better things for herself in her career at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa.

One day, Mary Moore would like to become a Sous Chef, second in command in the kitchen. Mary started at Goodwill as a secretary's aide and then moved up to a supervisor's aide position. When Nemacolin Woodlands, a five-star resort, was recruiting at Goodwill, Mary was hired as a dishwasher. The Executive Manager at Nemacolin, Bonnie Petco, saw something she liked in Mary and moved her into a training program to become a cook. "Goodwill is a good place to start," Mary says. "And Nemacolin is a tremendous place to grow, prosper and achieve."

"I liked this program because it made me get out in the workforce, and because I did well, I now have a good job!"

Anthony successfully completed the Learn to Earn program is now employed.
