Silas is currently in a full-time position at UPMC Montefiore Hospital and hopes to have a stable long-term career with UPMC.
Silas was enrolled in the Goodwill Reintegration Economic Stability for Fathers Program in October 2010 for assistance with obtaining full-time wage attachable employment. Silas was referred to the UPMC POWRR event in October and completed the required workshops. He was then scheduled for a face to face interview with the UPMC hiring managers. Silas was offered employment with UPMC and is currently working full-time at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in the Enviromental Services Department. Silas hopes to complete one of the UPMC employee training programs to have a stable long-term career with UPMC.
