With its experienced, well-trained staff of people with disabilities and special needs, Goodwill provides comprehensive janitorial services for private companies, government agencies and institutional facilities. Goodwill offers a comprehensive range of capabilities, including office cleaning, floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, wall washing, restroom cleaning and sanitization, special cleaning/maintenance projects, grounds keeping and lawn care, and snow removal.
Goodwill’s largest contracts for janitorial services are NISH contracts to clean three Federal facilities in the area. NISH is a national nonprofit agency whose mission is to create employment opportunities for people with severe disabilities by securing Federal contracts through the Ability One Program for its network of community-based, nonprofit agencies, which includes Goodwill. Employing more than 50 people, Goodwill’s NISH contracts include the William Moorehead Federal Building, US Post Office/Federal Court in downtown Pittsburgh, the Social Security Administration Office in East Liberty, and the Office of Personnel Management’s Investigative Services Center near Slippery Rock, PA.
