Services for Employers & Businesses

Goodwill offers a variety of services to assist employers and businesses while helping people with special needs. These services include:

  • Workforce solutions including employee recruiting, training and education programs for employees, and various consulting services.
  • Comprehensive janitorial services for private companies, government agencies and institutional facilities.
  • Contract production services for businesses that want to outsource time-consuming activities such as collating, assembling and packaging.
  • Computer recycling – including hard drive data destruction to Department of Defense standards – for small or large quantities of donated computers.

"I am really excited about finally learning to drive and having my own vehicle. Now, I don't have to depend on others to get around. What an amazing sense of independence!"

After decades as a homemaker, Sherry decided that she was ready to re-enter the workforce. She joined Goodwill's Employment Training Center in 2003, and is now a Patient Information Coordinator with UPMC.
