What are FREE Computer Workshops through Goodwill?
Goodwill’s free computer workshops are a great opportunity for those looking to add new skills to their resume or for those simply wanting to brush up on their current skills. You can also earn a digital badge! Click here for more information on Digital Badging.
Workshops are generally held twice a month on Thursdays from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Workshops are held at Goodwill’s Workforce Development Center in Lawrenceville (118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). * Free parking/on bus line.
Topics vary each month. Examples of workshops may include:
- Microsoft Word Basics: Learn the basics of creating and formatting Word documents.
- Microsoft Word Intermediate: Learn to create tables, borders, footers/headers, text boxes, bullets, and other features.
- Microsoft Excel Basics: Learn the basics of using an Excel workbook.
- Microsoft Excel Intermediate: Learn to import and manipulate data, use formulas, and formatting features.

Who is eligible?
Anyone who is 18 years old or older and wants to learn how to use a computer is eligible for Goodwill’s Computer Workshops. Registration required. No prerequisites.
