Local officials and Goodwill representatives will take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, to celebrate the grand re-opening of the newly remodeled Goodwill store at15 South Spring Street in Buckhannon. Radio station WBRB “The Bear 101.3” will broadcast live from the store during the morning, and shoppers will be treated to prizes, giveaways and free refreshments.
“We are very excited about the new look and feel of the Buckhannon store,” said Robert Stape, Vice President of Retail with Goodwill. “It has been completely remodeled and reconfigured to provide a great shopping experience for customers and improved work flow for donors and employees.”
Located right next to the Buckhannon city park, the 7,500-square-foot store opened in November 1999 and is one of seven stores operated by Goodwill of North Central West Virginia, an affiliate unit of Goodwill SWPA. It employs about 15 people from the local community. Everyone is invited to come out on Wednesday, January 29, for the exciting grand re-opening of the Buckhannon Goodwill store and enjoy shopping at Goodwill - Good clothes. Good prices. Good cause.
