PITTSBURGH, May 13, 2015 – The 15th annual Golf for Goodwill, presented by Burns & Scalo and Fifth Third Bank, will be held on Monday, August 17, simultaneously at both Fox Chapel Golf Club and the Pittsburgh Field Club, two of the area’s most prestigious golf courses. All proceeds directly support Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Golfers interested in participating can visit the event website, www.golfforgoodwill.org.  The website offers online registration and payment, sponsorship information, and an option to print the registration form.

Once again, the event will have an early registration program. Golfers who register by June 5 can choose which golf course they want to play, and they will save $100 off the regular prices of $2,000 per foursome and selected sponsorships.

Last year’s Golf for Goodwill event raised over $150,000 to support Goodwill’s training and education programs that help people overcome employment barriers and find meaningful jobs.  The annual event has been sponsored since 2010 by Burns & Scalo Real Estate Advisory Services and Burns & Scalo Roofing, Inc. This year, Fifth Third Bank joins Burns & Scalo as a Presenting Co-Sponsor.

“Burns & Scalo is delighted to continue our work with Goodwill.  We are deeply committed to helping individuals in our community build a better quality of life through meaningful employment, and the dollars we raise for Goodwill make a significant impact on so many hardworking people in our area,” said Jim Scalo, President and CEO of Burns & Scalo Real Estate Services.

“Fifth Third Bank has a rich legacy of supporting our community members as they pursue and accomplish their goals. We invest time and resources to help build a better tomorrow in the communities we serve, and we are honored to partner with Goodwill as they share our passion for empowering individuals,” said Julie Hughes, Market President at Fifth Third Bank.
