With Halloween costume thrift shopping becoming even more and more popular, Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania has added several new features to make Goodwill stores your Halloween Headquarters and the perfect place to create your own DIY costume.
New this year at every Goodwill SWPA store location is a “Halloween Look Book” to help shoppers put together their own creative Halloween Costume. The Look Book includes a checklist of items needed to create dozens of different costumes from the thousands of donated items to be found at Goodwill stores. To supplement costumes in the Look Book, Goodwill offers a wide array of new make-up and other new accessories to complete the perfect costume every shopper needs.
Back this year by popular demand, for those needing some help finding the perfect costume, Goodwill will once again provide Costume Concierges to help shoppers create their look. Costume Concierge services are available at an increased number of select stores, every Saturday in October, from 12:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m.
“We are so pleased to provide almost everything Halloween shoppers are looking for to make their perfect Halloween costume this year” said Andrew Marano, Goodwill’s Assistant Vice President for Retail. “Whether you use our Look Books, or find items for a costume on your own, all of our stores have so many wonderful options for costumes and Halloween shopping that everyone is looking for.”
