Goodwill Stores Are the Perfect Destination for All Halloween Shoppers
With Halloween costume thrift shopping becoming more popular than ever, this year Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania has added new features to once again make Goodwill stores the Halloween Headquarters for every shopper, and the perfect place to create a DIY costume.
New this year, shoppers can visit Goodwill SWPA’s website and utilize the “online costume generator.” The tool allows visitors to see fun and creative costume ideas based on individual item pieces (i.e. hat, black dress, etc.) found in our stores.
Once again, at every Goodwill SWPA store location is a “Halloween Look Book” to also help shoppers create their own creative Halloween Costume. The Look Book includes a checklist of items needed to create dozens of different costumes from the thousands of donated items to be found at Goodwill stores. To supplement costumes in the Look Book, Goodwill offers a wide array of new make-up and other new accessories to complete the perfect costume every shopper needs. The Look Book can also be found on Goodwill’s website.
“Thrift shop treasure hunters already know that Goodwill is the place for those who love making great costumes for Halloween,” said Andrew Marano, Goodwill’s Vice President for Donated Goods Retail. “We are pleased to add even more new features so that anyone can come to a Goodwill store this year to make their perfect Halloween costume. Our stores have so many wonderful options for Halloween shopping that everyone is looking for.”
