GRAFTON, WV -- Wednesday, June 16, 2021 – The official opening of the new Goodwill store in Grafton will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 23. Participating in the 10 a.m. event will be local officials, including Grafton Mayor Shelia Westfall, and Goodwill representatives.

Located at 1 Harman Plaza, Grafton, WV 26354, the Grafton Goodwill store will employ 20 people, which will infuse approximately $400,000 in payroll dollars to the local community annually.  This Grafton Store is the one of eight Goodwill thrift stores located in north central West Virginia.

The 14,750-square-foot Grafton store has about 9,260 square feet of sales floor space and features a convenient drive-through donation drop-off center.

First-day shoppers will be treated to prizes, giveaways and free refreshments.

“Goodwill is very excited about having a store in Grafton” said Andrew Marano, Vice President of Donated Goods Retail for Goodwill. “This is a great community for us and we know this store will be a big hit because it represents the new look and feel of Goodwill stores – a bright, customer-friendly facility that offers a great shopping atmosphere for our customers to enjoy. It’s a wonderful place to shop for anyone who enjoys getting a bargain. Good clothes and good prices for a good cause – that’s what you’ll find at today’s Goodwill.”
