Goodwill’s FIRE program helps fathers get the skills they need to be involved in their children’s lives through National Fatherhood Initiative’s 24/7 Dad® program. Through a series of workshops, FIRE provides fathers with the parenting, relationship, and communication skills they need to be involved, responsible, and committed fathers. 

What to expect when you contact Goodwill: 

  • Review eligibility
  • Complete orientation (in person, phone, virtual)
  • Attend all workshops (27 hours)
  • Participate in optional employment and training activities

Eligibility: 

Participants must be a father or father figure, age 18 years or older of a child 24-years-old or younger, and reside in Allegheny County.
