Going back to school doesn't have to be scary.

Goodwill provides the support you need to take the next step. Do you want a better job? Do you want to provide more for your family? A GED or HiSet credential will help you achieve your goals.

We offer free online classes to Allegheny County residents:

Right now, all of our classes are online. We offer daytime, evening, and Saturday classes. We want to make it easy for you to attend class.

We help you choose the best class level for you. We know every student is different. Our staff can answer questions about technical requirements for online classes.

More ways we can help you:

  • We can help pay for your GED test. Test scholarships are available to those who qualify.
  • You can take your GED or HiSet test at Goodwill. We are an official testing center.
  • Students get a 25% discount at Goodwill stores.
  • Our classes are small and students are on the same level.
  • We can help you find a job. We offer help with resume writing, job search, and interview practice.
  • We offer computer classes for beginners. You can learn computer skills and programs.

In-person classes:

All in-person classes are currently on hold. Please check back for more information or contact us to be put on a waitlist.  Read our plan for reopening: Goodwill Education Department Plan for Reopening - Covid-19
